Leopard kills woman in Jammu region

A woman was attacked and killed by a leopard in Reasi district of Jammu region on Friday, authorities said.

Aziza Begum, 55, belonging to Badder village in Reasi district, was attacked by a leopard in the wee hours of Friday outside her house, a police officer said.

Reports from the village said the villagers raised hue and cry to chase away the leopard, but the woman had been badly mauled by the animal and could not be saved.
