Madrid, July 7 (IANS/EFE) English football club Liverpool are eyeing Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez as a good alternative to replace Uruguay's Luis Suarez, who will move to Barcelona.
According to AS newspaper, this issue has become even more apparent following the news that Barca and Liverpool have reached a deal for Luis Suarez to join the Catalans for 79.2 million Euros, reports EFE.
The newspaper reported that Barca wants between 30 and 35 million Euros to sell the Chilean.
Liverpool seek to sign the services of Alexis quickly due to the attention of other clubs interested in signing the player especially after his performances with his national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Besides Liverpool, other clubs interested to sign the player are Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester City.
