With less than a month to go for the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) overseas batsman Chris Lynn injured his hamstring and is awaiting scan reports which will reveal his prognosis.
Lynn's recovery time was unclear on Saturday night after he broke down chasing a ball in the field for Queensland Bulls against South Australia at the Gabba here during a Sheffield Shield match, reports news.com.au on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Australian, who played two matches and scored 58 runs for KKR in the 2014 season, was retained by the Kolkata-based team citing his spectacular acrobatic outfield catch in last season's IPL.
Kolkata's first IPL match this season is the opening game against Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens on April 9.
