A Noida resident was arrested on Monday on the charge of killing a trader in a road rage incident in New Ashok Nagar area here, Delhi Police said on Monday.
Accused Yashpal, 28, was arrested from his residence in Sector 28 in adjoining Noida on the charge of fatally shooting a Faridabad resident who was in the fodder business.
Victim Deepak Bhadana, 25, had left for his residence in a car along with five friends after attending his nephew's wedding in Kondli in east Delhi around 11 p.m. on Sunday.
When their car reached near Dallupura village's intersection, Yashpal's car allegedly brushed past Bhadana's vehicle.
"When Bhadana stepped out of his car, Yashpal took out his pistol, shot him in the head and escaped," Deputy Commissioner of Police Rishi Pal said.
His friends Jeetram, Kapil, Gurjeet, Amit and Kartar informed police.
