Man nabbed at Kolkata airport with illegal foreign money
A man was nabbed at the city airport here for travelling with foreign currencies worth Rs 32.38 lakh without valid documents, a customs official said on Monday.
The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Customs intercepted the Bangkok-bound passenger on Sunday night.
"Foreign currencies totalling $9,000 and 1,15,000 Saudi Arabian Riyals, equivalent to Rs 32.38 lakh, have been seized from him," said the officer.
