A suspect has been shot and injured and another has been taken into custody following a stand-off with police near Australia's Adelaide city's Public Schools Club building on Saturday.
According to a police officer, two men broke into a real estate business and were spotted on the roof of the building by a member of the public, The Australian reported.
One of the men was shot and wounded by South Australia's heavily armed police Special Tasks and Rescue (STAR) Group.
The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and he has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
The second suspect was found hiding upstairs in the building, ABC reported.
A police spokesman said he was found without a firearm.
"However, once the investigators go in and check the building, we'll identify as to whether there was another firearm left in the building," he said.
