Separatist guerrillas on Wednesday shot at a man whose brother had given land on rent for a mobile phone tower in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.
Militants fired at 25-year-old Imtiyaz Ahmad Nadroo in Pattan town, a police officer told IANS.
Nadroo was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
This was the third such attack in three days in the district.
On Monday, guerrillas killed a man and injured two others in Sopore town in an attack on a BSNL SIM card selling shop. On Tuesday, another person was killed in Dooru village on the outskirts of Sopore.
The attacks on people engaged in cell phone business came after police removed a high powered communication equipment from a tower in Sopore that was fitted there by guerrillas to improve their communication network.
