Nearly a dozen people, including policemen, were injured.

police reinforcements from Gurgaon were rushed in to quell the violence. Mewat Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sangwan and Senior Superintendent of Police Balwan Singh Rana also reached to the spot.

The situation was now tense but under control, an administrative officer said.
