Many trains, including the Shalimar-Chennai Express and the Howrah-Chennai Coromandal Express, have been cancelled on Tuesday due to heavy rain in the Gudur-Madras section of Southern Railway.
The cancelled trains are 22825 Shalimar-Chennai Express leaving Shalimar at 12.10 p.m. and 12841 Howrah-Chennai Coromandal Express leaving Howrah at 2.50 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a South Eastern Railway media release.
The other cancelled trains are:
22807 Santragachi-Chennai AC Express leaving Santragachi at 7 p.m.
22642 Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Express leaving Shalimar at 11 p.m.
12839 Howrah-Chennai Mail leaving Howrah at 11.45 p.m.
12835 Hatia-Yesvantpur Exp leaving Hatia at 6.25 p.m.
