Luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz India on Wednesday reported a rise of over 21 percent in its sales for the last fiscal.
According to the company, its sales grew to 13,558 units during the last fiscal from 11,213 units sold in 2014-15.
Further, the automobile manufacturer clocked sales growth of over 1.6 percent during the January-March quarter.
The company sold 3,622 units during the quarter under review from an off-take of 3,566 units.
"It is a significant achievement for us, as we have maintained our growth momentum in Q1 (first quarter), 2016, despite facing multiple market challenges," said Roland Folger, managing director and chief executive, Mercedes-Benz India.
"We have been able to compensate the negative sales impact in the Delhi and NCR (national capital region) market, with a strong double digit growth achieved in most other markets across the country."
