Manchester City's attacking midfielder Jesus Navas believes a win against Norwich City away on Saturday could give them the perfect boost for the remaining games on the road this football season.
City, fourth in the English Premier League (EPL), have managed just five wins away from home this season with the latest reverse at Liverpool meaning Manuel Pellegrini's men have scored just 13 goals in 14 trips.
This is in stark contrast to the 22 goals scored in just 10 FA Cup matches away from their home -- an average better than two goals per game.
"It's been really tough in the Premier League for some reason but we will keep working hard to improve away from home," Navas told mcfc.com on Friday.
"There is no difference in the way we approach cup games -- it's just been a struggle to score in Premier League games away from home this season but as I say, we will prepare well and work hard and hope the goals will start to come."
Norwich have fallen into the relegation zone in recent weeks and are scraping for survival, but Navas recalled how the Canaries gave them a tough game in the first league meeting last October.
"We haven't had much luck this season as a whole and many of the teams below us are stronger this year, but we believe in ourselves and that we will finish the season strongly, but we have to win this game," the Spanish international said.
"After Norwich, we have Kyiv and United -- two very tough games - but if we take three points on Saturday, it will give us a big boost at the beginning of what is a very important week for us."
