A militant hideout was busted on Saturday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir by security forces and a cache of arms and ammunition seized, official sources said.
"Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and state police launched a search in Kalakote tehsil and busted the hideout," Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta told IANS here.
The cache seized from the forested area near Sadah village included one AK-47 assault rifle, one AK-56 rifle, one Chinese pistol, two rocket-propelled grenades, five hand grenades, two magazines and 639 rounds.
It is the second seizure of arms and ammunition by the Army in two days, he said.
