A four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her 24-year-old neighbour in his house, police said Saturday. The accused is on the run.
"The victim lives in Seemapuri area in east Delhi. Her father told police Friday that his daughter had been physically assaulted by a neighbour, Panna, late Thursday evening," a police officer said.
Her father said that Panna, who is unemployed, lured his daughter to his room. When she returned home, she was crying.
A case has been registered and team has been formed to nab Panna.
