Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of a four-lane road connecting Patna and Buxar when he visits Bihar on August 18 to address a BJP rally, an official said on Friday.
The prime minister will visit Ara town in Bhojpur district, about 60 km from here, before addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party rally at Saharsa.
Bhojpur District Magistrate Birendra Prasad Yadav said the district administration was told about Modi's visit to the four-lane site by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Modi has already addressed two election rallies in Muzaffarpur and Gaya ahead of the Bihar assembly polls.
