Real Madrid and Croatian midfielder Luka Modric reached an agreement on Tuesday to extend the player's contract until June 30, 2020, according to the Spanish football club's official website.
The player has been playing for MAdrid since 2012 after arriving from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, reports Efe.
"Luka Modric will appear before the media on Wednesday in the press room at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium," the club said.
