A music teacher at a private school in Rajasthan was arrested Saturday for molesting several minor girls while giving them lessons, said police.
The incident occurred in Bhilwara town, some 250 km from Jaipur.
Some parents approached the administration of the private school and complained that music teacher, identified as Bhanwar Lal, was molesting girls, police inspector Satish Meena told IANS.
"The school administration spoke with the girls and when it was confirmed that he had misbehaved and molested them, removed the teacher immediately and lodged a complaint with police," said the officer.
The officer added that most of the girls who were molested are class 6 students.
"We arrested Bhanwar Lal after recording statement of some girls. Further investigation is on," said the officer.
