New ambassadors to Libya, Cote d'Ivoire

Azar A.H. Khan and Dinesh Bhatia have been appointed ambassadors to Libya and Cote d'Ivoire respectively, an official release said here Wednesday.

Khan is at present the counsellor in the Indian embassy in Cairo, Egypt. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.

Bhatia, an Indian Foreign Service officer of the 1992 batch, is joint secretary in the external affairs ministry, the release added.
