"Workplace Excellence", a new television series will showcase 30 corporate organisations' journey towards creating and maintaining an excellent workplace.

The 10-episode show will go on air on business news channel CNBC TV18 starting Saturday.

The programme has been conceptualised and researched by We Institute, an entity of SkillTree Knowledge Consortium. Its idea is to acknowledge the organisations that apply unique methods to create engaged, motivated, productive and loyal employees who have a sense of ownership and identity in the environment they work.

"Workplace Excellence" will also highlight the achievements and performance of the organisations, measured on a wide variety of parameters, including work culture and employee satisfaction.

"It's not easy to achieve a happy workplace but some companies have come admirably close, and deserve to be showcased to the world and applauded for the same," Arvina Purkayastha, CEO of Workplace Excellence Institute and co-founder of SkillTree Knowledge Consortium, said in a statement.

"By focusing on the examples set by excellent workplaces, we are trying to share their inspirational success stories for others to follow," Purkayastha added.

The show will zoom in on the insights, facts, strength and innovation in maintaining the best work culture of an organisation.

The 30 corporate organisations shortlisted to be showcased in the series are Hindustan Uniliver, Flipkart, Indus Towers, Microsoft, Airtel, Ambuja Cement, Accenture, Murugappa Group, MakemyTrip, Raymonds, Radio City, Amway, Target India, Ernst & Young, HDFC Life Insurance, Concentrix, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Sons, DELL, Yes Bank, United Breweries, Muthoot Finance, Altran, IBM, Capgemini, Hindustan Zinc, TATA Steel, Titan Ltd., Idea Cellular Ltd. and UltraTech Cement Ltd.
