Indian TV soaps have most often captured the love-and-hate relationship that sisters-in-law share. But a new show, titled "Ek Nand Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi...Meri Bhabhi" aims to redefine the bond and show it in positive light.
The show, produced by Deeya and Tony Singh's DJ's Creative Unit, was launched here Thursday. It will go on air on Star Plus starting June 17.
Deeya is confident the show will make viewers inquisitive.
"Over the years relationships evolve. I think this show will raise questions in people's mind. It will take thinking to another level," she said here.
It will feature actresses Kanchi Kaul and Esha Kansara in lead roles.
"We are trying to do something different and hope people like it," Kanchi said here on the sidelines of an innovative launch, where female journalists were invited with either their 'nand' or 'bhabhi'.
