Neymar has reassured fans that an injury he suffered during Brazil's 1-0 victory over Cameroon in a friendly is not serious.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward limped off early in the match at Stadium MK on Tuesday with what appeared to be an adductor muscle injury, reports Xinhua news agency.
"It was nothing serious," Neymar wrote on Instagram. "Thanks to everyone who sent me messages of support and wished me a speedy recovery. I think I'll be okay."
Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar also played down fears of a lengthy injury layoff for the 26-year-old.
"He felt discomfort. He will need a bit more time to evaluate it and take a scan, but in principle it is not a serious injury," he said.
Everton forward Richarlison, who replaced Neymar in the eighth minute, proved to be the match-winner, heading in his third goal from six Brazil matches just before halftime.
