NHRC notice over gym trainer's shooting

The NHRC has sought a report from police over the alleged shooting of a gym trainer by two police constables in Greater Noida, a statement said.

Citing media reports, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) said that the victim's right arm had to be amputated due to the severe injuries.

Taking suo motu cognizance of the reports, it issued notice to the senior superintendent of police, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, seeking a report within two weeks.
