Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) on Monday said it has made major changes to its senior management team, effective October 1, to bring the right balance of experience and new thinking for the Indian automobile market.

"Arun Malhotra, currently Managing Director, NMIPL, has been appointed as the company's Corporate Advisor. In this new role, Malhotra will leverage his extensive expertise and deep experience in the Indian automotive sector to support the delivery of Nissan India's future growth goals and network development plans," the company said in a statement.

On these management changes, Kargar said: "Nissan has invested substantially in our manufacturing and R&D facilities and in our dealer network in India.
