The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will not enter into an alliance with any political party if a hung assembly emerges from the Delhi elections, a party leader said Wednesday.

"AAP represents the emotions of Delhi's voters who will pass a no-confidence vote against both the Congress and BJP. Any kind of alliance with political parties would be a betrayal of their trust," party leader Yogendra Yadav said.

Yadav was speaking on the sidelines of the launch of a survey conducted by an independent agency, which found that over 40 percent of Delhi's voters want AAP to come to power and party chief Arvind Kejriwal to be their next chief minister.

According to the ABP News-Nielsen Mood of the Nation survey Thursday, the BJP is likely to win 32 of the 70 assembly seats, while the ruling Congress will win 27 seats.

"Delhi will witness a hung assembly, with the BJP emerging as the single largest party and the newly-floated AAP not making a major breakthrough in the polls," the survey said.

Elections to the Delhi assembly are scheduled in November.
