Fawad Khan, who has found a place for himself in the Bollywood industry, has also garnered appreciation for chic and classy appearances but the Pakistani actor doesn't count himself as the most fashionable one in the industry. He however agrees that he carry himself pretty well.
"Kapde pehnane ki tameez hai (I have the sense of dressing).I am not the most fashionable but I carry myself pretty well," he told reporters during the meet and greet session with the loyal customers of the brand Giovani, the quintessential Suits and Jackets brand, from Future Lifestyle Fashions Limited.
The customers not only got an opportunity for an informal chat with Fawad, but also garnered some interesting style tips from the Giovani man himself who feels that style is a personal expression.
"Style is personal expression and it is not confined to any trend. It's not your clothes that make you look nice but it's you who makes clothes look nice," he said.
Earlier this month, Giovani ran #MEETTHEGIOVANIMAN contest across social media platforms and in store. On FB and Instagram the contest was all about fans uploading their Fawad's moments through dubsmash videos.
On Twitter, the followers were asked to complete a saying "I love Fawad Khan because??". At store level, customers were asked a few interesting questions about Fawad; if answered right they stood a chance to meet the Giovani man! In total, seven winners were selected through a lucky draw. These seven fans got their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of sharing some real candid moments with their style icon.
Fawad took the opportunity to speak about Giovani's Spring Summer collection and also shared his personal style tips with the audience.
"I am extremely elated to be a part of this Meet & Greet event by Giovani. It was a great pleasure interacting with Giovani loyal customers who are also my fans. I am glad to see that Giovani's Spring Summer range looks classy & elegant as always. It complements the latest trend and my personal style," he said.
Giovani's latest range of Spring Summer collection 2016 is designed considering varied style preferences of the discerning contemporary man. One could choose from a variety of colours in jackets, suits, bandhgalas, Nehru jackets, waist-coats, shirts, trousers, pocket squares and scarves.
In the women's collection one could choose from belted jumpsuits, lacy sheer tops, palazzo pants, knit light capes, casual tops and trendy long dresses. The colours are neutral to drive away summer blues.
