Atomic power plant operator Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) closed last fiscal with a net profit of Rs 2,707 crore, up by around Rs 506 crore over the previous fiscal.
According to NPCIL, the company had logged a net profit of Rs 2,707 for on a total revenue of Rs 9,795 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
The nuclear power plant operator had earned a revenue of Rs 8,957 crore and a net profit of Rs 2,201 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.
The NPCIL board that met on Friday in Mumbai has recommended a dividend of 30 per cent of post tax profit excluding self-insurance fund of Rs 78.37 per share for the year 2015-16 totalling to Rs 800.24 crore.
The Rs 10,217 crore equity capital based NPCIL has already paid an interim dividend of Rs 630.11 crore during the fiscal 2015-16.
