One person was killed and at least five injured Friday after a speeding truck hit a cab on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, police said.
"Some people boarded an Eeco cab from the IFFCO chowk and were headed for Kapashera at about 5 a.m. Friday. A speeding truck hit the vehicle," a senior police officer said.
Commuter Sanjay Kumar, 40, succumbed to injuries while five other passengers were admitted to different hospitals.
The drivers of both the truck and the cab managed to escape, leaving the injured and the vehicles on the spot.
A case was registered at sector 17-18 police station.
