Exploration and energy major ONGC on Thursday declared a second interim dividend of 45 per cent, amounting to Rs 2.25 on each equity share of Rs 5.
"ONGC Board in its 304th meeting held on 1st March, 2018 has approved 2nd interim dividend of 45 per cent, i.e. Rs 2.25 on each equity share of Rs 5," the company said in a statement.
"The total payout on this account will be Rs 2,887 crore... The payment of interim dividend to the shareholders shall start from 15th March, 2018."
The first interim dividend of 60 per cent (Rs 3 on each equity share of Rs 5) was paid by the company in November, 2017.
