Campaigning for Haryana assembly elections ended Monday evening. As many as 62 candidates are in the fray in the four assembly segments of Gurgaon district which has 1,002,675 electors.
Contestants include 32 independents and five women candidates.
Maximum 20 candidates are in Sohna assembly while 18 are in Gurgaon, 14 in Badshahpur and 10 in Pataudi assembly.
According to District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shekhar Vidyarthi, people who had come for election campaigning and do not have their voting rights in Gurgaon, should leave the district.
About 5,000 government employees will be deputed in the four assembly segments that will have a total of 920 polling stations.
The electorate include 530,528 men and 472,147 women.
