The North Delhi Municipal Corporation has issued legal notices to over 25,000 houses and challans to various offices after finding conditions favouring mosquito breeding, a statement said Tuesday.
The offices challaned include a Delhi Development Authority (DDA) office and a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus depot.
"North Delhi Municipal Corporation public health department domestic breeding checkers (DBCs) issued legal notices were issued to 25,579 houses for mosquito breeding," said an official statement.
It added that the department issued challans to 2,371 houses for mosquito-genic conditions.
Challans were also issued to other offices, including the Punjab and Sind Bank and CISF Inspector quarters in Sector 3, Rohini, a DTC bus depot in west Delhi's Shadipur and a DDA office on the Ring Road.
