Overcast morning in Delhi, light rain expected

New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy morning in the capital Friday with the minimum temperature settling at 24.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The Met Office has forecast light rain later in the day.

"Light showers accompanied by thunder is expected later in the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperatures will be around 37 degrees Celsius, the IMD official added.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. stood at 65 percent.

The maximum temperature Thursday was 38.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 23.2 degrees Celsius - both normal for this time of the season.
