Leading healthcare network Oxxy has announced that it will launch free pick and drop for patients in this Andhra Pradesh coastal city from Friday.
Under its Swastha Bharat platform, the company will also be offering free eye checkup at home or its centre. Anyone can call 09999000102 and get the ride or test done for free, the company said in a statement.
Oxxy has already started free eye checkup initiative in more than 200 cities.
Valued at $2 billion, it has so far screened 12 million people under Swastha Bharat in last three months.
"Transparency in healthcare is the need of the hour and thus Oxxy is working dedicatedly towards its mission to provide e-Healthcare for all," said Oxxy founder Pankaj Gupta.
Co-founder Sheetal Kapoor said they were focusing on optimizing healthcare infrastructure throughout the country.
Earlier Oxxy with its alliance with Uber provided free health checkups to all its riders. It already screened more than 2.5 lakh passengers.
