Pakistan on Friday filed a complaint with the UN over what it called were ceasefire violations by India.
The Pakistan Army registered the complaint with the United Nations Military Observers group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) against alleged ceasefire violations by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (Loc) and the International Boundary, Dawn reported.
The Pakistan Army's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said: "The Pakistan Army highlighted the Indians' use of heavy mortars and machine guns on civil population, living along the working boundary and line of control...."
It said "UNMOGIP was asked to use its good offices to investigate Indian cease fire violation".
At least three people were killed and five others injured in Sialkot's Chaprar sector on Thursday, ISPR said.
