A Pakistani national with fake currency with a face value of 10 million Bangladeshi takas (around $129,080) was arrested at the Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, an official said Saturday.
Asimillah Khan, 40, landed at the airport on an Emirates flight Friday, bdnews24.com cited customs department assistant commissioner Nazma Zabin as saying.
The customs officials found fake currency of different countries, including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the US, Nazma added.
A case will be filed against Khan who is currently in the customs department's custody.
