Football legend Pele has said he likes Real Madrid more than Atletico Madrid because Real has a "more artistic" playing style. The two Spanish football clubs play Champions League final on Saturday in Milan, Italy.
In an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pele on Thursday said he likes Real Madrid more than Atletico, since the Whites have a "more artistic, more open and less defensive" playing style, reports Efe.
The three-time FIFA World Cup winner is in Milan to present a film about his childhood and career, to be premiered later on Thursday night.
Although the Brazilian legend praised Real Madrid, he admitted that if he had returned to playing, he would have joined Barcelona.
Pele acknowledged that Barcelona's Argentine star Lionel Messi is the world's best footballer, ahead of Brazilian Neymar and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
