It was a pleasant Thursday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded 22.8 degrees Celsius, average for the season. The Met has forecast a cloudy Friday with light rain in the evening.
"Friday will cloudy and light rain may occur in the some parts of the capital late in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 degrees and 6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature Thursday settled at 6.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degree Celsius, respectively, both average for the season.
