PM greets nation on Parsi new year

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday greeted the nation on the occasion of Navroz, the Parsi new year, saying the festival celebrates life and hope.

"Navroz marks the onset of spring and celebrates life and hope. It reinvigorates the values of peace and symbolizes the rich and diverse culture of our country," the prime minister said in his message.

"May this festival bring hope, prosperity and happiness to all," he added.
