A 22-year-old truck driver was arrested here with 1,440 kg poppy husk valued Rs.30 lakh, police said Monday.
Azad Singh, a truck driver, was arrested from west Delhi's Najafgarh area Saturday when he was going to deliver the consignment in Haryana to some clients of alleged drug dealer Balram, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
During a search, poppy husk packed in 36 gunny bags was recovered from Azad Singh's truck, police said.
