Madrid, June 13 (IANS/EFE) Paris Saint Germain is willing to let Real Madrid sign Italian midfielder Marco Verrati if only the latter agreed to sell either Frenchman Karim Benzema or Argentine Angel di Maria, according to news reports Friday.
Spanish sports daily AS said that Real's Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti does not want neither Benzema or Maria to move, which will stall the deal of transferring Verrati, reports EFE.
On the other hand, Sky Sport Italy said that Verrati's agent is set to meet with representatives from Real Madrid to talk about the deal within the next week. The channel added that the 21-year old midfielder may move to Real Madrid as PSG has already started searching for a replacement.
