Paris Saint-Germain reached their 100-goal milestone for the fifth consecutive football season in a 2-1 victory over Ligue 1 bottom side Lorient.
With a nervy win over Lorient on Monday, PSG have made a comeback from a humiliating 6-1 loss to Barcelona at Camp Nou in the return leg of UEFA Champions League last 16, before creating the history as the first side to be eliminated from the knockout stage with a 4-0 lead in the first leg, reports Xinhua news agency.
PSG scored their 101st and 102nd goals in 44 matches in all competitions of the season, including 58 in the league.
According to the club's official website, since 2012-2013, PSG have experienced five seasons in a row with 100-plus goals, with last season hitting the record of 139 in 65 matches. The other season for the club to achieve that feat was 1982-1983.
