Paris, Sep 9 (IANS/EFE) Paris Saint-Germain, or PSG, will donate 1 million euros ($1.1 million) to associations that help refugees, the French club said on Wednesday in a statement.
The statement added that PSG pledges to work with the UN agency for refugees, or UNHCR, to develop concrete solidarity projects in the long-run in France and worldwide.
The French club will send the donation from the income of the club.
PSG said it has appointed an individual to monitor and evaluate the operations.
