Sports goods manufacturer Puma will supply the Indian Super League (ISL) with match balls for the Oct 12-Dec 20 football extravaganza.
The ball, named Puma evoPower 1 Statement Football, uses dual outer materials. The first one provides grip for more swerve in dead ball situations while the other reintroduces dimple technology for improved aerodynamics.
Puma will also provide balls for warm-up and training sessions.
"The association with ISL brings in credibility and Puma is happy to be the official ball partner for the tournament. The evoPower 1 football uses cutting edge innovation and we are glad to bring such technology to the table," Puma India managing director Abhishek Ganguly said Tuesday.
