Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday refused to be drawn into a debate on the extradition of AgustaWestland middleman Christian Michel and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should explain why he "gave" Rs 30,000 crore to an industrialist in the Rafale fighter jets deal.
"I can't answer. The Congress has made its position very clear. The Prime Minister should explain why he gave Rs 30,000 crore to Anil Ambani," he told reporters here.
Gandhi was asked about the Prime Minister referring to the extradition of Michel, said to be a middleman in the AgustaWestland chopper deal, in an election meeting in Rajasthan where he attacked the Congress and Sonia Gandhi on the issue.
