The first day of play at the Rio Open was suspended without a completed match because of heavy rain.
Only two matches got underway on Monday evening on the outdoor clay of the Jockey Club Brasileiro before rain forced players off the court, reports Xinhua news agnecy.
Officials eventually decided to postpone all of Monday's scheduled meetings to Tuesday.
