Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met a delegation of UK-India Business Council (UKIBC) led by Patricia Hewitt, chairperson of UKIBC, here Saturday and discussed possible cooperation between the UK and Rajasthan in some sectors, an official statement issued here said.
"Raje discussed possibilities of cooperation between the United Kingdom and Rajasthan on thrust sectors like energy, Smart City, road safety, health and skill development among others," the statement said.
Both sides also held talks on possible investment opportunities during the 'Resurgent Rajasthan Summit' to be held in Jaipur November 2015.
A delegation led by Bangladesh commerce minister Tofail Ahmed also made a courtesy call on the chief minister. Bangladesh High Commissioner Sayed Muazzam Ali, Additional Secretary Manoj Roy and Commercial Counsellor Nahid Rashid were also part of the Bangladeshi delegation.
