Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will arrive here on Wednesday on a day's visit, but no formal review of overall security in Jammu and Kashmir is part of his schedule, sources said.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sources told IANS that he will address party leaders and workers at the K.K. Resort in Talab Tillo Bohri locality of the city as part of 'Jan Kalyan Parv' programme.
He will also oversee the party membership drive in Jammu city. Sources said he will address the media before winding up his visit.
The state home commissioner, director general of police and chief of the CID arrived here on Tuesday in case the minister decides to review the overall security in the state against the backdrop of heightened separatist violence in the Kashmir Valley in the last three days.
