Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane on Monday ruled out Welshman Gareth Bale and German Toni Kroos from the Super Cup match against Sevilla.
In the absence of Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas and Portuguese players Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Fabio Coentrao, Bale and Kroos will also not play, reports Efe.
This is because Zidane prefers to use players who completed the pre-season training with the team, including his son Luca Zidane as the third goalkeeper, due to the withdrawal of the injured Navas.
Tuesday's game is the first call to an official match for the two new Madrid signings midfielder Marco Asensio and striker Alvaro Morata.
Homegrown players Marcos Llorente and Mariano are also listed, although the club is seeking to put them on loan.
