Singer LeAnn Rimes and comedian Kevin Nealon witnessed a fatal plane crash at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport, Colorado.
The celebrities were at the airport Jan 5 and saw the twin-engine Bombardier Challenger 600 crash as it landed, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"So sad! Horrible plane crash we just saw happen at the Aspen airport," Rimes tweeted about the accident.
Nealon also shared details of the accident on his Twitter account and wrote: "Horrible plane crash here at Aspen airport. Exploded into flames as it was landing. Fire truck and ambulances were on the scene within minutes."
It was reported that one person died following the crash.
According to the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office, the plane carried three passengers. The other two were treated at Aspen Valley Hospital. One of them was said to be in fair condition by late afternoon while the other one was in critical condition.
