Tottenham Hotspur have announced that their Romanian international footballer Vlad Chiriches will join Italian side Napoli.
The 25-year-old defender will leave the English club after two disappointing seasons, in which he played only 43 games, Efe reported on Thursday.
Chiriches joined Tottenham in August 2013 from Steaua Bucharest for 9.5 million euros ($10.3 million), but he was never able to secure a place in the starting line-up under any of his three coaches at the English club.
"We wish Vlad every success for the future," the London club said in a statement on its website.
