Ronaldinho has probably played his last match for Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro, according to the star's teammate and close friend Jo.

The 34-year-old has not contacted anybody at the club since it clinched the Recopa Sudamericana Wednesday with a 5-3 aggregate victory over Argentina's Lanus, reported Xinhua.

"I didn't speak with him after the (Recopa) win, but everything indicates that it was his last match," Jo told Globoesporte. "The way he said goodbye to everybody gave that impression."

After Wednesday's match, in which Ronaldinho was substituted early in the second half, the two-time FIFA World Player of The Year winner wrote on Twitter: "Galo (Atletico Mineiro) will always be in my heart."

He was then given a week off by Atletico officials to take part in a testimonial game for former Barcelona teammate Deco.

But he failed to show up for Friday's match in Lisbon after reportedly missing his flight.

According to local media, Ronaldinho has not contacted anybody at Atletico since the Recopa victory.

"We don't know anything and we will wait for an official word about him," added Jo, one of Ronaldinho's closest friends at the Belo Horizonte-based club.

Jo's comments come less than a week after Brazilian and Argentinian media reported that Ronaldinho was a target for Buenos Aires giants Boca Juniors.

The 2002 World Cup winner has also been linked with a move to Turkish sides Besiktas and Galatasary.
