Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to the training sessions of Real Madrid along with his compatriot Pepe, and together they carried out some exercises at the gym and on the field.
Wednesday's training was technically a test to see if he has fully recovered from the knee injury that he suffered in the final of Euro 2016 against France, reports Efe.
Players who were included in the 3-2 UEFA Super Cup victory against Sevilla took the day off, while coach Zinedine Zidane received Ronaldo and Pepe at the training city.
The full team will return to training on Thursday afternoon.
